Welcome to the Sarah Pegler Photography website.
I take photographs at Camp Drafts, Gymkhanas, Polocrosse, and Rodeos, in far South-west Queensland. So far in 2008 I have travelled to Eromanga, Betoota and Adavale. If you like my work and want me to travel to your event to capture your perfect (or not so perfect) ride, contact me and let me know when and where the event is on, I’ll do my best to get there.
The photographic prints I offer for sale are printed on a commercial quality photographic printer, featuring 8 ultra chrome inks. I use mainly premium gloss photographic paper for my prints. Depending on the job I am doing, I use different kinds of photographic paper. All the papers are specialty papers designed to give excellent results. The prints are long lasting and have water-resistant qualities. If the quality is right, I sometimes enlist the help of a professional laboratory to print some photographs.
My work is not limited to Action shots. I was fortunate enough to obtain RADF Funding which enabled me to complete an intensive 5 day Portrait photography course from 10-15th December 2007. I hosted a free discussion day at the Quilpie Cultural Society on Saturday 29th March. We discussed the most basic points that one needs to know before the camera can be used effectively. The enthusiasts who attended found the day to be helpful, and we have talked about starting a Photography Club in Quilpie. I can't commit to one just yet, but great ideas come from these clubs and everybody learns so it is something to think about.
